I have a SY-kt600 Dragon Plus with a Athlon Xp 2200 on it. Recently I
can not get my cd-rw or Dvd to work. It comes back as inaccessible. If
I leave the disk in either drive and reboot it will work until I remove
it again. I have 784 MB of Pc2700 memory and have change it along with
my Power Supply and Video Card, now has a ATI 7500 in the machine. I
Have Windows Xp Pro and have gone though the repair cycle twice. I
change ribbon cable and even move 1 drive to the same cable as the Hard
drive, still same problem. Any suggestions?

How do you come up with 784mb of PC2700 memory? 3 x 256 = 768, 512 +
256 = 768. I guess you just made a mistake in your math. But still
whats the make up of your memory? Because if your using a stick of
512mb thats double sided with a stick of 256mb that may be single sided
that could be a problem.
