Hi guys,
A few weeks ago i did an upgrade on my computer. I Purchased a Sapphire AMD R9 290, a new SSD drive, and replaced my old 4gb ram with 2x 4gb hyper x fury ram slots and upgraded to windows 8.1.
During normal computer work i have no issues, but when i play LoL on occasion the game freezes for about 3 seconds, then either goes on playing, or if i'm unlucky doesn't and crashes / blocks completely. The computer itself is not frozen (as I can still go to task manager / alt tab to desktop).
The weird thing is, sometimes nothing freezes at all, yesterday i played all day without a single freeze, today i already had 6 in half an hour. I tried rebooting and opening up as little processes as I needed, tried replicating what I had on yesterday but no luck. I also tried using gamebooster, no help either.
I also played other games (shadows of mordor mostly) but have no issues there.
I have a 650W PSU, a Gigabyte P55-UD4 MoBo and another harddrive of 750 gb.
Thanks for looking into my issue, if any other info is needed i'd be happy to provide.
Edit: I also already ran the built in memtest that windows has, ran for a few hours and then rebooted, no issues were given.
