Twice now I have spend some time typing an in game E-Mail (I am not a feast typer),
only to have the system log me off before I sent.

If there a way I can type something up in a text editor, cut it, and then past it
into the in game E-Mail?

The windows default of CTRL-V to past bring up the planet map. Is there another way I
do not know of?

Bring up the Options window. Go to the Controls section and click on
Keymap. Select the Chat tab and scroll down to where is says ChatEditPaste.
Click Rebind and push the key combination you want to use. I prefer
Control+Shift+V. It'll ask you want to override the original binding, click
yes and you're done.

Like Charlie says, you have to remap your keybindings, for both Copy and
Paste.

As for typing something up in a text editor, you can do this by opening
up the file 'notes.txt' (I think that is the name, something similiar at
least) - it is in the SWG directory under your profile name - in your
editor of choice. Type out your message in that file, and then save it.
When you are back in-game, you can type /notepad and your message will
appear in there. Then you can copy that text (using your newly rebound
keys), and paste it into the email.

Hope that helps...
