I see one use for it. VERY LARGE RES. 2D and MILD/ULTRA MILD 3D stuff on high res. on multi-monitor.
Otherwise totally useless except to rope in the numb-nut consumers who've been buying MXs and FX5200non-ultra 256s (and Intel Extremes expecting gaming perf.).

Gotta make some money, even if we're selling a slice of our integrity. Hopefully the numb-nutz finance the research for OUR cards.

OMG, this means my local dealer will be telling people to upgrade to the "latest 256MB card" when they ask how they can improve the performance of their 9800 Pro 128MB!

This dealer has already been getting people with GeForce 3 Ti500 64MB cards to purchase GeForce 4 MX420 128MB cards for upgrades.
