i want my graphics card to last and want to keep it at a lower degree, what settings should i put my MSI afterburner on to make it a a cool chilled state. also, how do i lower my cpu degree? its not at a horrable degree but i just want everything to be cold when im not gaming or doing anything extreme. Thanks.

the graphics card fan should generally long out live the card, if it does not, then there is generally something wrong with it. Example: I went scrap hunting and found an old HD4870 and a HD 6870 both of which had working fans, but do not seem to do anything else. your mother board may have a fan speed profile which will allow you to change fan speeds. as long as you do not over volt your fans they will be fine.
MSI afterburner allows multiple profiles, just set one with a lower power limit and use it when you are not gaming. a low power limit is fine so long as you scale back the clock speeds until they are stable. Also in settings and fan control you can set your own fan curve to make the fan cool the card more.

My graphics card is at a low degree pretty much at all times, im just wondering about my cpu and wondering if there is anything to cool that down with MSI or does MSI only effect the graphics card? here is my degree when its not really using much: http://imgur.com/3o82nRf

also, if i turn the fan speed up on the graphics card, will the fan wear out or go bad fast? is it worth keeping my graphics card low or my fan speed low? which one would wear down. (as you can see I want my expensive stuff to last me a while)
