I really need help I have my computer built for my girlfriend and everything, every other part seems to be working just fine but my sata port with the harddrive and ssd isnt working not the sata port on the HDD or SSD but the sata port on the motherboard because I've been using this same hdd and ssd for my old pc and it has all my stuff still on the hdd such as windows 10 but currently I'm installing windows 10 on a usb drive to hopefully install windows onto it from there.

It could be, yes. UEFi is more Secure then the old Bios and will block any bootable drives that it believes are foreign. Some motherbds wont even show the drives are attached but this isn't common anymore.
So what am I supposed to do go buy a new drive and then try to connect the others and clear them ?
