Question In need for a monitor expert to help me choose

Hello,
Lets cut straight to the chase.
I am running a Ryzen 5 2600x(stock) and a gtx 1070 ti and i am looking for a monitor to go along with em.
I am prety fond of the ultrawide thinky but i also love to get the smoth 144hz and the online monitors that are sold in my country that fit those criteria are the are,
the Dell Alienware AW3418HW and the LG 34UC89G-B.
I am pretty much in the dark when choosing for a monitor so please help me rational decision.
