Question In need of a new powersupply not sure which one i need

Hi all,

I currently have a problem with my pc resetting when i play certain games which are quite heavy for my PC.

after some searching it seems like my powersupply needs to be replaced whoever i am not sure which one i need to replace it with.

I currently have:
Power supply: LPW12-23E 3*SATA 420 W
Motherboard: (MSI) MS-7994 Ver 1.2


Like you might already noticed from the question i have no idea where i can find the needed information so if i need to add more information could you also add where i can find said information.

replacing the PSU would be a good thing, after that you could consider updating the BIOS and GPU drivers

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

check the memory by running memtest.org usb autoinstaller (bootable USB flash drive)

check the hard drives for errors with the manufacturer´s tool

This is absolute crap PSU. 204W on 12V rail. It's basically 200W PSU.
Not suitable for being used with discrete graphics card. Replace asap.
GTX 950 minimum PSU recommendation is 350W.

Absolutely 1000% agree with @SkyNetRising , that PSU seems dangerous.

Your psu does not have the requisite 6 pin power cable for a GTX950 card.
Using an adapter is dangerous.
If a psu does not have the requisite power cable, it does not have the ability to support one.
If your psu should fail under load, it can damage all it is connected to.
Consider a quality power supply as a long term investment.
Buy only a quality unit with sufficient reserve power to support a stronger graphics card. I might suggest 550-650w.

The one SkynetRising postsed is the one currently in the system. I bought it a couple years back in a prebuild case.

Just one more question, how do i know how many rails my power supply needs?

Acording to the chart is need atleast 380W with 6 pins (GeForce GTX 950).

If at all possible could you suggest one for me?
