In need of help with SSD 1st time build SSD Authentication?

Hi, I'm currently building my 1st pc and I've run up against something. I got a PNY 240GB SSD and when I opened the box it has an authenication key. It instructs me to go to a site and download Migration software and then has the key I need to "activate" it. So I'm wondering will I be able to boot up and install my OS on this in a new rig? Could really use some info if anyone here would help. I'm kind of panicking.

For a new install, you don't need that.
That 'activation' is for their Migration software, which you are not using.

It's just another drive.
Plug it in and install the OS, just like any other drive.
