I have five PC's to connect and Netgear routers WNR3834Bv2 and WPN824 to work with.

The WPN824 is hooked to the DSL Modem and via wire to various places on my house. I wanted to add my sons computer wirelessly. He is too far away from the signal (no way to relocate him).

My thought was to put the WNR834B at the closest location and have two systems wireless. The WPN824 can not bridge.

So I thought of having a second wireless Access point on that end of the house. I am not sure how to set that up (or if it is possible).

I turned off the DHCP and set it up as Tnet with Gnet as my original. Set the static IP and resvered that IP in my current router.

I got a wireless signal and hooked my sons system up for about five minutes then the signal stopped and the DSL refused access until I yanked the new netgear from the system and rebooted the modem.

I am feeling way out of my league. I hope someone can spell out if this is possible to do and how.

Purchasing a new bridging router will take some time as cash is way tight.

Thank you kindly in advance.
