Question In rust my gpu usage is at around 40 to 50%

When i play rust my gpu usage is at 40 to 50% my cpu is at around 40% it is only in rustin othergames it is like 95 to 99%
the temperatures are oke around 70 degrees celsius. i get around 70 to 80 fps while on 50 % usage i have a 144 hz freesync (gsync compatible )monitor
my specs:
rtx 2060 ventus
ryzen 5 2600x
asrock fatality b450 gaming k4 motherboard
16 gb of ddr4 ram 3000mhz from G. skill (2x8)
power supply is g750m from coolermaster

i have already tried disabling hpet and it did nothing

Rust is not a well optimized game.
You need to monitor the usage of EACH CORE. Just 40% cpu usage is the equivalent of 4 threads and 80% of another.

This behavior doesn't change regardless of graphics settings...
The only thing to blame here is the game engine; it can't properly utilize the resources available to it. Not much of anything you can do about it - the problem isn't on your end.
-Update the motherboard drivers/bios
-Update graphics driver
-Check your PC for malicious 3rd party software. This one's pretty good at finding things that tend to get past antivirus apps: https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/



I just remembered that this game has received numerous reports for memory leaks before, so how's the memory usage on your end?
