Hi!

I thought I'd ask for your opinions here on what monitor to buy..
I am selectively looking for a 24" or bigger monitor with good quality that is used.

I've had a LG 19" LCD for years and I upgraded to 24" GL 2460 BENQ, but gave it away since I have an OCD for dead pixels.
Now I am looking on these sites there are many monitors to seem to be on the bar but 90% of them are LCD-s.. Are LCD-s really that bad?
So I thought to myself.. If I got 2460 for 80€ maybe I could hunt something else nice down like that.
I started to really wonder how bad these LCD-s are since I had this 19" LCD and thought the quality is quite up to bar with the LED 2460.
Furthermore I found a monitor 26" Amilo DY S3260W from Fujitsu Siemens.. It seems better than the 2460 in every way on paper... Bigger, more varied brightness 300 instead of 250, more contrast (5000:1, GL2460 has 1000:1) and last but not least 1200p resolution to make up for the size. The problem is it's manufactured from the year 2008..
This reverts me to the question.. Are LCD-s really worse? They seemed so identical even on black colors when I had 19" LCD and 24" 2460 LED paired up. What should I choose? Any model recommendations? Used LED's are quite pricy, my budget would be about 80-90 euros, trying to find the best bang for the buck.
