Hello!
I'd like to buy a new Monitor as a main display.
Main use of it will be gaming and occassional video.
I'd like it to be as big as possible, around 40 inches. (If you take regular 16:9 or comparable aspect ratio)
Also it should have at least 120Hz or more and G-Sync or comparable.
Budget I'd say around 1500€.

I've taken some fondness of this one, but I'm not sure if it is what I'm looking for. Would you recommend that one?
Or should I choose on with a different aspect ratio? (More widescreen?)

Also I don't really get the price increase compared to a TV. If there's a comparable or better TV for that money that can be used as monitor please tell me.
But I'd prefer a non-TV (or at least one where you can easily remove the tuner, as that ones attached to extra taxes here.)

Thank you for your help :)

I wrote it in the OP. :)
In my country you'll have to pay taxes if you own a TV. A Monitor isn't one, and as far as the rules go, the a TV with the TV-tuner removed won't count either. It's stupid but quite some money over time saved.
