1. What is your budget? Minimum $1800, max $2,500, but can be flexible on budget by a bit.

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 16"

3. What screen resolution do you want? Would prefer QHD 2560 x 1440 if possible

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Something in between desktop - laptop replacement. I do a pretty fair amount of traveling so I'd like something that I can transport between the various places I go.

5. How much battery life do you need? More the better, but if going with a 4060 or 4070 that doesn't really matter too much as long as it's decent. I would like to find a laptop with USB type C charging if at all possible (something like the Samsung Galaxy Book for instance).

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? Some gaming

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) Streaming, editing, things of that nature

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? Minimum 2TB, but the more the better. I have a large photo and media collection which is why I need a lot of storage.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? My current laptop is going on 4 years and is starting to show serious signs of aging, so I'd like something that lasts at least that long

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? None, have external.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. Brands I am considering - some of the higher end ones like Origin, Maingear, Sager, Razer, Lenovo Legion, and Dell, Asus ROG, etc. Would also be open to suggestions.

13. What country do you live in? USA - California. I have access to the Orange County Micro Center.

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed. I'm looking to purchase around mid May if possible. My current laptop is dying. And I would prefer to get a new one with as much storage as possible, which is why I'm looking at some of the higher end brands and models. I would also like one that can either be upgraded to include a 2nd SSD or have one included in the purchase. Current contenders include the Origin Eon 16-S, Dell XPS 17, and the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 2024 model.

Hmm, Sager NP8856E might be a good option. 15.6" 1440p, i9-14900HX , RTX 4070, 32/64GB of memory, Two M.2 Slots. Under $2,000 with 32GB of ram, a 1TB 990 Pro and a 4TB P3 Plus. (They have a 17.3" computer with 3 M.2 slots, as well)

Not sure about the USB ports.

That's definitely speaking my language. I've looked at Sager before but never owned one.
