In the middle of a new build and having some trouble... Help!

Hi guys I'm slap bang in the middle of my build and having issues.
This is a brand new build using the aoros gaming 7 x470 motherboard and a 500gb Samsung 970 evo m.2 ssd.
The issues I have are I can't seem to get the system to recognise the ssd drive.
Can anyone talk me through step by step how to identify this and turn it on (if need be) from the bios?

I was going to try and use an older hdd to run the bios drivers from the Cd rom but it's windows 8.1 and won't let me.

Help... Please..

There are two M2 slots, have you tried the other one?
