in which order does the PCIe goes from top-to-bottom or bottom-to-top

I was wondering, while trying to solves the issue with my graphic card. I noticed that in my gigabyte motherboard bios, when choosing a primary graphic interface. There are PCIe-1, PCIe-2, PCIe-3 and PCIe-4 which are two 2 PCIe-x16 and 2 PCIe-x4. I usually put my graphic card at the top but i started to realize if i were to get another PCIe-x1, I would have to move my graphic card in a spot where it wont cover up my PCIe-x1

My question is in which order does the PCIe slots on my motherboard goes?

From the one closest the cpu to the end. So top to bottom.
You can put your PCIex1 card into any PCIE slot underneath the gpu.

isnt PCIe-x1 slot different from PCIe-x16 and x4 slots? of course you cant put PCIe-x16 and x4 in a PCIe-x1

Yes you can. Their bandwidth is different.
You can definitely run a PCIE x16 gpu on a PCIE x1 slot. It will fit but obviously not recommended since the bandwidth is limited to a PCIE x1.
So you can fit a PCIEx1 into a PCIE x16 slot but it will still can as PCIE x1 slot.

Their size is different but at the end of the slot is open. PCIE slots are backwards compatible and their pin patterns are the same..
