In which PCI-E slot do I put my GPU

So have a motherboard with 2 pci-e slots. Does it matter if i put the GPU in the second one and leave the first one with nothing in it, i want to put the GPU in the second one becous i dont have enough room for the GPU( The CPU cooler i have wukk be in the way).

Your link shows the motherboard to be a d2912 so thats what I searched for

OK, from the cpu, the 1st x16 is 4 lanes, the 2nd is 16lanes, then you have two pci. So in this BTX system you will use the 2nd x16.

Are you sure i have to use the second one which is named on the print PCIe x16
