In Which settings should I play Fc4 on this rig?

My system spec is core i3 4150, r9 280,fsp hexa+550w psu,4gb ram, 1tb hdd the game lags when driving and sprinting, I play it on high @1080p. What should I try? Every answer is highly appreciated.

High details on 280 + i3 4150 should easily yield above 30fps at all times. Your main issue could simply be the lack of memory. Only 4GB makes you game swap to HDD and that creates huge slowdowns.

Also check your CPU and GPU temperatures with Open HW Monitor while playing the game.

you can play this game in ultra @1080p with a decent fps by disabling motion blur and god rays

You really need to add 4GB ram more if you want to play games like FC4.

It's a shame that far cry 4 seems to hate AMD GPUs while simultaneously eating the VRAM. I assume that turning quickly is also horrible for you?

Wth are you talking about? AMD GPUs are better in FC4 than nVidia.

Trust me, it stutters on every machine. Game code and optimization is bad. Also, that article is like patch 1.1, lol. Now with 1.8 its quite different.
