Hi
My power supply died a while back and I am installing a brand new one today. Upon starting the PC, I was informed that the BIOS has been corrupted so is using the backup BIOS.
the BIOS then told me that it could not find a drive to boot from, then I realised I hadnt plugged in the SATA cables to the hdds.

But now that they are connecting, Windows now attempts to boot but comes up with a screen saying "Inaccessible boot device" - it restarts, does an auto repair and tells me "Your PC did not start correctly. Restart / Advanced options"

It just won't boot... have I done something wrong with the drives? The HDDs are connected in the same order that they have always been.

any advice woould be great, thanks

Hello... YES you need to get everything working in your MB BIO's first, any setting changes need a save&exit.
1) Remove Battery and clear/reset your BIO's per MB manual/PDF instructions... if you still have problems.
