Hello,
First of all i wanted to say just so i clear things up i am a Graphic Designer & Gamer, recently i got a new monitor Asus Tuf Gaming vg249q1a 144Hz as my new main monitor and i kept my old Asus vx239 60Hz as my secondary monitor.
Ever since i got this new monitor few days ago i can't help but see how colors are so inaccurate although i got a IPS panel. I tried all of the options on the monitor and nothing can help. I literally have both IPS monitors for better colors since i design and yet the colors on the newest monitor are nothing compared to my old one & also there a weird vignette like thing on my newest monitor and stuff just get lost on the edges (become more dark).
I don't know what to do, i got the 144Hz since i love to game and compete in certain games in my free time, but i just can't help and notice how colors are so poor on the new monitor. Is there anyway to fix this or do i just go and return this monitor for a different one.
I am afraid that this can happen again, and i don't know what to do. I have changed every setting, every colors temperature and skin tones and nothing helped. Biggest problem is with orange-yellow-green colors, they are just not accurate at all.
Also my old monitor doesn't seem to have this vignette thing and it's much better to look at. Also this monitor isn't as sharp as my previous ones, and if you use Standard mode it doesn't allow you to change sharpness but if you use FPS mode it does. It's so weird.
If somebody can help me maybe to either fix this, or just recommend a good 144Hz monitor thats 1080p & has great color accuracy (IPS).
Thanks in advance!
