Inadequate PSU power crashing?

I've been getting an Nvidia popup error message saying 'The display driver has stopped working'. Recently I noticed on Precision X that just before crashing, the GPU power % goes up all the way and then drops. This has been happening for a long time, even through clean Nvidia driver installations and trying many of the suggestions on similar posts. The only thing I am not sure of is if the PSU is supplying enough power, though I'd think it's OK. Any help is very much appreciated :)

Info: CPU- i7 i7-3770K (overclocked to 4.5GHz), GPU- GTX680 6GB Classified (GPU Clock +90, goes up to 1290MHz), RAM- 32GB Ripjaws X (16GB usable), PSU- 750w, Motherboard- Asus Sabertooth Z77, OS- Windows 7 Home Premium.

The overclocks were fine after ~20 minutes on the Heaven benchmark. Temperatures only get up to 50c on the GPU and 70c on the CPU. Using the 314.14 driver currently.

I had the same issues a while back on one of my cards. I ended up fixing it by doing a complete un-installation of the drivers, pulling the card out and giving it a quick air blast from some compressed air and then re-installing it.

As for your PSU...750w is a good wattage for your rig, but what is the specific model? While I doubt it's the problem you can't tell if the PSU is adequate without seeing the 12v rail amperage.
