I played it a total of 3 times and that was it. There's just not enough variety in units to play around with for AOS. I was hoping the expansion would actually, well, expand on that.

I do. It's by far the best RTS I've played in recent memory. For one thing, it's about the only macro-based RTS around since Supreme Commander.
