Hello,
I am going to buy a game pc in 2 weeks, my budget is around €670 (in the netherlands)
It will be used mainly for gaming, and maybe a bit of streaming in the future. i will be overclocking, so a unlocked cpu is a must.(i like to mess around a bit with soft- and hardware) the only arts i planned to upgrade after a year or two is the gpu and maybe an ssd. I also have a few hdd's laying around, 2x 80GB (one for os, the other for music) and a 300GB hdd (probably for steamOS) i already have a copy of windows 7 ultimate, a monitor and a optical drive.
this is what i planned to buy:
CPU: AMD FX 8320 (could also go for a locked i5, but than i have to spend less on other parts, and i really want a overclockable cpu)
MOBO: ASUS M5A97 EVO (if there is a better choice, please tell me, eufi is a must)
GPU: MSI R9 270 GAMING 2G (i know this would be a bottleneck, but the 270 is good enough, and i will try to overclock it to aprox 1gHz, and it will be upgraded later)
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 8GB (2x 4GB) (this ram is good enough, it is low profile, and cl8)
HDD: WD Blue WD10EZEX 1TB (cheapest together with a seagate HDD, but that one has some troubles according to some reviews)
PSU: CoolerMaster GM Series G550M (no clue which psu's are good/reliable, please advise me some psu's keep overclocking in mind for extra power consumption, and please not too expensive)
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo (cheap and good)
Casefans: Arctic Cooling ARCTIC F12 (not too expensive, not sure yet how many)
Case: still not sure, candidates are:
Cooler Master K280 €34 (not entirely sure if everything will fit)
Antec One €46 (need another cpu cooler because the CM 212 Evo is too big)
Corsair Carbide Series 200R €55 (not sure if the CM 212 will fit, and a bit on the expensive side)
Corsair Carbide Series 300R €70 (expensive, a bit too much fanholes)
please help me choose between these cases, other cases may be recommend as well (at least some cable management, not too expensive, must be black and a bit the style of the 4 cases mentioned above, at least 3/4 fan mounts, not more than 6/7, not too expensive, if possible under the €50, and all the parts must fit, so at least 4 places for the 3.5" hdd's and at least the possibility to mount a 155mm high CPU Cooler.
i also need a gaming keyboard and mouse(not included in the budget, but raised if cheaper case), i was thinking of the: (with the k280)
keyboard: Sharkoon Skiller €20
Mouse: CM Storm Havoc €40
you may advise me with everything
i hope you can help me
thanks
