I want to upgrade my desk top. I bought a asrock h610M-HVS motherboard and a i3 14th CPU.
After assembly I received a message "no signal check connection "
I went on the internet and found, to my layman's expertise that this setup doesn't support graphics. I then bought a new graphics card, Arktek GeForce G 210 1 GB. My setup still doesn't work, no graphics, what can the problem be?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

I went on the internet and found, to my layman's expertise that this setup doesn't support graphics.
If you look at your motherboard's specs, it has a PCIe4.0 x16 slot, labelled PCIE2 on the motherboard's PCB.

Look through this CPU's support list;

You're going to need BIOS version 8.01 at the very least to be able to use the 14th Gen i3 processor with that board. You won't be able to update the BIOS without a 12th Gen processor.

On second thoughts, look for a sticker over a BIOS chip that might denote what BIOS shipped with the board.

The thumbrule is, ask first, then go buy. If you go and buy things in hopes of things working, you're going to end up with an empty wallet.

That motherboard CAN support graphics. It depends on the CPU. If you bought the i3-14100F then that CPU has no graphics built-in.
Obviously, if you add a graphics card, you have to connect the monitor to the card rather than the motherboard.

According to this, your motherboard DOES support integrated graphics.

What is the make/model of the processor you purchased? The F suffix processors sell for a bit less and do not have integrated graphics.
If that is what you bought, return it for a non F processor.
The G210 card is over 10 years old and may not be detected with a uefi bios.
Return the card. It has a fraction of the performance of the integrated graphics.
