Hi. I Bought memory 2x8 gb. My laptop manufacturer recommends max 8 gb, but some peoples succsesfully use 2x8 gb ram. I ran memtest and my memory what I bought was full of errors one and another stick(I tested one stick in one slot). So memtest can show errors if memory just incompatible? I don't wanna judge people if it's my fault. If it's memory fault I wanna make my money back!

Solution
it could be the memory is defective or its not fully compatible with the motherboard. the only way to find out of it is on your motherboard manufacturers QVL list
