Hi guys, I bought an AVEXIR 16gb (8*2) 3200mhz. The thing is, it won't boot on any XMP profiles or if the speed is turned from 2666 mhz (default) to 3200mhz.
RGB lights turn off after a minute and spectrum says rams aren't properly placed even though I made sure they're sitting just fine.

If it does boot, the only usable is 8gb, and the other 8gb is on hardware reserve.

If I only use the first slot which is the one nearest to the CPU, it works just fine with one ram @ 3200mhz.

If I use only the other slot, and the first one empty, it won't boot up with any of the ram kit.

Does it sound like a broken 2nd ram slot? Or is it just incompatibility?
btw , part# is AVD4UZ332001608G-2C2C
Run memory diagnostic test on each rams, all are "passed" without errors.

Here's my build:
Ryzen 5 1600
MSI B350 gaming pro (2slots)
AVEXIR 8GB * 2 3200mhz DDR4
GTX 1070
Kingston 480G SSD
Corsair CV 550W 80+ Bronze

I'm also thinking about buying another ram kit which is hyper X 16gb (8*2) 3200mhz ((HX432C16FB3AK2/16) ) but if the 2nd slot is no good, then Maybe I'll just buy the single stick of 16 gb instead. It's a tough choice. I need your suggestions, thanks !!

Ryzen 1600 probably isn't going to get higher than 3000-3200MHz on RAM.
Try 2933 or 3000MHz.

I've tried different speeds between 2666 and 3200 but none of them seem to change anything. After saving changes in bios, the speed is still @2666mhz when using it in dual channel. However, If I only use one ram at the fist slot, I was able to run it at 3209mhz but only 8gb.

Any further thoughts?
Thanks !
