Hi! I recently build a computer, http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/gproud/saved/3rCI, currently without the listed graphics card, and installed windows 8.1 pro on it.
I had a tp-wn725n wireless adapter for a few days but the net connection was pretty rubbish which I'm pretty sure was down to the distance/obstacles between the adapter and the router. As when the tower was plugged directly into the router the connection was fine, running at the full 36mbs rather than the super inconsistent 0-3mbs.
So to solve this I got the AV500 Nano powerline adapter from TP-link, model TL-PA411KIT. For the first 12 hours or so it was great, connection was fine, ran at full 36mbs. But then randomly it reverted back to this erratic connection, the same as when the wireless adapter was in use.
The most confusing part however is that when I run a speedtest it shows the full speed. http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3271324410
And is verified by a peak in network speed on the task manager : http://imgur.com/kZEAtto
But then once the speed test is over it reverts back to nothing and this is how it looks: http://imgur.com/hUnhtUK
During the heaven that was the initial 12 hours of glorious internet the graph stayed at a constant 36mbs - ish. But hasn't been like that since it stopped 2 days ago.
The router we have is an ee-bright box 2 wireless router.
so, Any ideas?
