inconsistent ping/bad connection?

I recently bought pc
specs:

ryzen 7 1700
rx550
16 gb of ddr4 ram
1tb of hdd storage
and
internet around 20-30down and 5-10 up

and I started playing pc games like rust or csgo and I saw I had rubberbanding issues and disconnection problems sometimes its fine other times its unplayable ive had ping as low as 130 and as high as 130000 I play on a wireless connection but im planning on buying a tp link n300 wifi range extender will this help????
