I just got an Acer GN246HL and when I try to change to everything above 60Hz says ''Incorrect Cable, please use the DVI cable that monitor came with'' . I'm using a DVI-D cable indeed. My GPU is GTX Titan X. I don't know if I should try to buy another DVI-D cable or maybe a HDMI 2.0 ? I have a cheap HDMI but doesn't support more than 60hz..

PS: Just found out that monitor has hdmi 1.4 and doesn't support more than 60hz on hdmi..
