I got a brand new non-used desktop with windows 8.1 Installed worth $650. It's not even a week old. I look up to see if I have the right specs for a game. All is fine but I need 256 MB of dedicated RAM, I only got 32 MB.

Here are my specs if it helps:

CPU: Intel Core i5 3337u----1.8GHZ

Installed Memory (RAM) 4GB

It sounds like you are trying to increase the shared video memory. This setting is typically found in the BIOS.

To be honest, your PC is not good for gaming. Intel graphics are junk and that CPU is a low-power model designed for laptops.

I am currently trying to upgrade so I can play Guild Wars 2 and Minecraft, low powered gaming could work on my system. So under what tab in BIOS will the option to increase be available at?

Alright, Same story here with my Laptop Core i3 which does have 1.7gb vram avail, but I got only 128mb performance out of 1.7gb which is intel HD 3000, this means that rest of Vram has been shared by system but 128mb is pure means providing best performance I've been playing games for almost 3 years with high or medium settings. Last thing that On-Board graphics aren't that good.

Hey, bro you can't play nowaday Games with your laptop even with lowest settings, may be some games you can play. I'm sure 256mb is your last Vram available in your system. It cannot be increase. As I told you system shared it by 80%, the remain 20% is enough.

I recommend you to search for royal nba driver, it worked for me.........but use at own risk.It changed my dedicated vide memory from 64 to 128
