Increasging Dedicated Memory to GPU

I have an Nividia Geforce 7400 series GPU running on an older HP Pavilion dv8235nr system with 2GB of Ram. Can someone tell me how to increase the amount of memory dedicated to the graphics card?

gpus have their own memory and do not use any system memory. while there is no way to increase it, you can overclock the frequency of the mem with ocing programs like evga precision and msi afterburner.

No, you should not OC your ram- it will make almost zero difference for gaming and you laptop's PSU/cooling may not be beefy enough to handle it.

The only option is to get a better GPU with more VRAM.
