So i was wondering if i can increase my graphics card dedicated memory, and if i increase it will i get better fps in games.
I have an Intel HD Graphics card and 4 gigs of ram.
For now the dedicated memory is 32 but i think i can increase it, the problem is i have no clue how
I know that its in BIOS but i cant find it anywhere, so if someone know please tell me so i dont search for it anymore :)

I am actualy on a desktop PC 😀

What computer do you have? Is it a premade from a company like Dell or eMachines (and if so, what is its model number) or is it a homebuilt computer?

If it is a premade, then it is possible that there is no support for manually adjusting the amount of RAM dedicated to the graphics. If it is an older model (which I'd have to guess if it only has 32MB dedicated to it), then you might also already be at its limit even if it is adjustable.

Unfortunately, even if it can be increased, there is no guarantee that it will help games, at least until we know what model GPU your computer has. If it is an older one, then it might not matter if you give it more memory- it may be too slow to make use of it.

Well i have no clue if its premade i certanly didnt build it by my self my father went to a store and bought the case with everything in it. Eaven tho this graphics card is weak as hell and its integrated i can play lots of games i played skyrim with lower res and high, borderlands 1,2 etc.
When i open BIOS for example its says that the creator is Gygabite or something like that maybe thats what u meant when asking me its premade.

You can increase RAM, yes, but this has a marginal difference in performance, unless the RAM is below 8gb. That's basically the standard for a PC used for gaming. VRAM is embedded onto the graphics card, and so is unupgradeable. If the BIOS is by gigabyte, it's probably a custom made PC that your dad got someone to build. You should just buy another GPU some good cheap options are the GTX 750 Ti, it has a very low power requirement, with decent performance. Comes with 2GB of VRAM, a fast increase over the 32MB you currently have.

EDIT: just saw that it's an integrated GPU. Then yes, adding more RAM (to 8GB) would help, but getting a dedicated GPU would be a better choice.

True. Uusually HP, dell, etc. have at least a 300 W PSU, but who knows on this PC. OP, open up the case, and the side of the PSU should show it's wattage. The PSU is often in the lower back side of the case, but on cheaper cases, it may be near the top, in the back of the case. Also, what's your budget for upgrading? If it's at or less than $100, just upgrade the RAM, GPUs at that price range have horrible price to performance ratios.
