increasing dedicated video memory

i have 1 gb video card on my core 2 duo. but its dedicated memory is only 256 mb. i dont how to increase it. please help.

You can't increase dedicated memory as it's the memory that comes with a graphics card. You'd have to buy a new graphics card with more dedicated memory if you wanted more.
