Current GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8570D
Total Available Graphics Memory: 4224 MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 768 MB
with 8 GB of ram.
Is it safe for me to change dedicated VRAM in BIOS to 1gb as I enjoying playing Rainbow Six Siege although I only get 40-50 fps although if I had 1gb of ram it would turn to over 60fps 😀.
I am just wondering if upping the dedicated VRAM though BIOS would have any bad effects on my pc, eg. not turn or something.
( I am not the most skilled person when it comes to computers, especially when it comes to the BIOS )

Solution
IF your BIOS allows you to do so (there is a upper limit for each board, don't know how big it is for yours), then it is absolutely safe to do. The only downside is that it will reduce your system ram by the amount you dedicate to GPU.
