Increasing shared RAM usage on AMD Ryzen 7 2700U with RX VEGA10 GPU

I've been trying to play Warhammer total war 2, and whilst I understand that this is a very hardware intensive game, I am getting incredibly low frame rates even on the lowest quality. After looking into it my CPU is only working at around 30%. However, as the graphics card is integrated, it has 1GB of dedicated memory, and 3.5GB of shared memory. When I run the game, the readouts I get is that the GPU is using the entire 1GB of dedicated memory, but hardly any of the shared memory (around 3-10%). The RAM usage of the PC is relatively unchanged - far from maxing out - whilst running the game. Does anyone know how to increase utilisation of the shared memory so that the game can run properly? Thanks

PC Specs:
APU - AMD Ryzen 7 2700U
RAM - 8GB DDR4

The system will automatically share more ram as needed. What will affect the performance of the apus gpu is the ram speed and channel operation. What speed is the ram is it single channel or dual channel? If you don't know use CPU-Z to find out.
