I would like to increase the size my D drive. I have followed the following steps:
Determine that hard drive contains adequate free space on the existing C drive.
Click the Windows Start menu button and select "Control Panel." Double-click the "Administrative Tasks" icon and then double-click "Computer Management." This opens a new window with a list of options.
Click the "Disk Management" icon on the left of the window. It takes several seconds for Windows to retrieve all your hard drive information. Once it's finished, a list of free disk space and partition volumes are displayed.
Right-click the "D" drive and select "Extend Volume."
However, the "Extend Volume" button is grayed out and not available. I can not extend the size of D drive using this method.
I appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Ken
