Hi I have a HP Pavilion P7-1380t with 6 gigs of RAM and a 3.0ghz Intel i5-3330 with no GPU.

The current Max dedicated Video Ram is 64mb and I want to increase it to at least 512mb to run most games at minimum settings.

I tried updated the Drivers and the BIOS won't give me an option to change it. Question is, did HP block the option or is there a way to do it on all PCs. I'm getting a GPU later this year and wanted to increase the Video Ram for temporary playing.

The BIOS is the only place you can increase shared memory for the GPU but in your case it's not possible.
HP and other mass-production PC manufacturer's use a custom-made BIOS which is deliberately cut down
to prevent the owner screwing it up and then expecting the manufacturer to fix it under warranty.

Build your own PC or have one built locally for you if you want a comprehensive BIOS to play with.
