So far I have been able to reach 150mhz stabily. Anything higher the system would freeze durring Win2k startup. I guess my question is, is it my memory that is holding my system up or would it be one of my pci/agp cards that causing the problem. My system is as follows:
-Soltek SL-75DRV2
-256MB OCZ PC3000 Memory
-Gainward GF2 Ti200
-10/100 Ethernet card (3com)
-56K v.90 Modem (I believe it's a Modemblaster)

Maybe later I'll try to remove some of the cards and see if they are the problem.

From what i've read at the boards here, i think that many people have trouble going past 150 because of their pci devices, namely your ethernet card...But i wouldn't go replacing it just yet, but i just thought i'd give you the heads up on that...

Putting the laughter back in to Slaughter.

Wow, PC3000 memory don't think that's your problem if PC2700 is designed for 166 MHz then PC3000 will be designed for about 180 MHz (don't know the exact formula for calculating PCXXXX to xxx MHz).
It will probably be your videocard, PCI cards or onboard IDE controller that can't cope with higher speeds.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground 😱 .

That's what I thought, the RedStorm feature always maxes out a 154. Hindsight, I should have gotten the Abit or Iwill's board where I believe they have a 1/6 divider.

Yes the Iwill board has an 1/6 PCI divider, but I don't know about the Abit board, do you mean the KR7 or a other board?
