Incredibly high memory and disk usage since windows 10 update on 9/27

Since the windows update this week I've been seeing incredibly bad performance on my computer. Today I noticed that my memory usage is hovering at 15.9/16GB and one of my drives is at 100% utilization (Processes, Performance Tab). Has anyone else had this issue?

It''s dubbed as a memory leak and the only way you can get rid of it if a repair install fails is to reinstall your OS after you create a bootable USB installer.

Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date? On that note, please pass on your full system's specs.
