I am having issues with a few games. I can't play them as they crash 5-15 minutes after startup, most notably whenever things start heating up (lots of stuff happens at once).
--------------------------------------------
My specs (I have changed my GPU twice)
GPU: MSI GTX 980TI (I had an Evga 970 and an Evga 670)
CPU: I7 3770
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V
Storage: WD 2tb HDD Black (this drive is dedicated to steam), 250gb 840evo.
Ram: 8 GBs Corsair Red Vengeance
OS: Windows 10 Pro
----------------------------------------------
What games are crashing?
Space Engineers
Grand theft auto 5
Cities Skylines
CS:GO(when I have settings on max)
Garry’s Mod(When I have settings on max)
Games that don’t crash.
Elite Dangerous
Goat Simulator
CS:GO (Mid to low settings)
Garry’s Mod (Mid to low settings
------------------------
What have I tried?
Reformatted OS Twice
I’ve gone through multiple GPU installs
Updated Bios
Verified Integrity of game Cache
Reinstalled said games
trying to run a game off a different drive
My temps are sub 65 and rarely hit 70
What haven’t I done and why
I haven’t reformatted my game HDD because I have bad internet, and to reinstall my entire library would take a little over 2 months of constant downloading. I will be moving in a couple of weeks, but I would rather figure out whats going on.
