I have two mobos

Asrock Z87 Extreme4
Asus H81M-A

I have two CPUs

i5 4670k
i3 4160

Both CPUs work on the ASRock Board, but only the i5 works on the Asus board. I flashed the Asus BIOS to its latest build, and the i3 still won't work with the board. No POST, no beeps, nothing. However, the i5 works just fine, and I can boot into Windows 10 no issue.

Do you guys have any idea as to what may be causing this? Btw, im using 1333mhz memory, 8gb of it, with both the i3 and i5, CPU is supported on that board, and so is the RAM.

yes, however, this isn't an H81M-A board, it's an E board. there was a sticker on the PCB that covered the name. That doesn't explain how there is an A BIOS on here though, and why does it show up as an A board on speccy?

Whenever I try to load an E BIOS, I get a security error.
