Independent audio channels

Can you set up independent audio channels on windows 8? I'm streaming netflix on my tv & playing skyrim on my pc monitor. But it's playing sound for both on tv speakers. Can I set pc monitor to play sound on pc speakers while tv plays it's own audio?

If you have two sound devices, yes...if only one, then no.

I have actually got 3 devices on my machine:
The onboard soundcard
A Xi-Fi Creative Labs card
A USB Razor Megaladon

In my setup I can have 3 sound sources playing at once, but if I only had the onboard card, I could only support 1.
