Hi
I am having a small but irritating problem with my Zoom conference setup. I'm not asking for a solution here, (although a solution would be nice) but simply where will I find a centre of specialised knowledge of Zoom that isn't owned by Zoom itself? They have discontinued support for non subscribing users.
The actual problem is that in every meeting I am in, everything works, I can see and hear all participants, and can switch from gallery view to speaker view.
But I am the only one in the group that can not see a green highlighted border, or frame, call it what you will, around my webcam view of myself while I am talking. I can only see the border around every other participant when they are speaking.
This means that I have to barge my way into the conversation every time. All other participants say they can see the border around my image when I am the active speaker, it's only me that doesn't know when I am highlighted. This is very distracting and spoils the experience.
I've just spent the last hour searching for this in Zoom help pages and I can't even find out what the border thing is called. Is it called a frame?
FWIW my system is Linux Mint
