If I do a indexing troubleshoot I get an error "Incorrect permissions on windows search directories" and it says not fixed. Exactly like this

I've tried everything I've found online about this issue and nothing has fixed the problem.
Does this affect use of my computer or do i need to reinstall windows?

I typically turn indexing off, especially on SSDs as it will wear them out. Indexing causes the system to constantly read and write. All indexing does is increase the speed of searching for something within windows using the search bar. Not really necessary.

You could try to repair it using Tweaking.com Windows repair tool, which may be able to fix the permissions issue. Also are you logged in as an Admin? If not that will do it as well.

Thank you for your quick answer. I have an SSD so I disabled indexing and Windows Search. As it is not used anymore the permissions shouldn't matter am I correct? I will still try the Windows repair tool if it finds something wrong with the permissions.
