Still, you'll be paying 75 bucks more and will be stuck with 8gigs of storage. If you are on a tight budget and need more than 8gigs, it's pretty good. And 1,2ghz single core ain't that bad.

92% of the world's population can't get a Nexus because Google doesn't sell it outside of like three countries. At this point, I'm waiting for iPad mini, at least Apple doesn't discriminate.

I hate how they put ads at the bottom of the page in the mobile version, and I have to close them every damn time I load a page. Plus, if I'm using Opera Mini (when I'm stuck with EDGE), closing the ad involves refreshing the entire page. (that gets annoying REALLY fast!) I'm really thinking about rooting my phone and installing adaway or something now... (I already use ABP and Ghostery on my PC.)

Moot point is moot.

92% of the world's population can't get a Nexus because they can't afford it. They won't be able to afford iPad mini either.

Are you serious? $200 is as cheap in Europe (and Japan, and Australia and Middle Eastern Oil Kingdoms) as it is in the US, and I'm sure at least a 100 million people in China and India would be able to afford one easily (they're really big countries).

You seriously think that every single person, from infant to ancient, in Europe, Japan, Australia, and the USA has $200 to spare for a tablet (let alone any use for one).

Let me remind you that 46 million people in the US lives in poverty, roughly 14.6%. Although the percentage is far lower in Europe, Japan and Australia, you can be quite sure that at least half the population in western world countries lives in families that does not have a budget that allows for a $200 tablet, or at most only one for the whole household.

lol, no mention of the resolution anywhere. That's not a good sign. They might be trying to build hype, only to later unveil, "Oh... yeah, by the way, it's a 600 x 480 resistive touch-screen." Or some such bullshit...

Color me sceptical.

I didn't say that, and you're not making any sense.

it IS removable, click the close button and remove the mouse from on the AD fast

125$ US is approximately 6875 Indian Rupees....... that's about close to the minimum wages for a month..... yo really ought to be able to get the picture of who these Crap-bonn people are trying to target....

Ads? What ads? 😉

Anyway, on topic: Hey, it's a cheap tab running JB. It's not N7, yes, but it's much cheaper and will reach a much wider audience. Heck, it might even be enough for most if it does web stuff well.

BTW. I'm sure more than 8% of the world can afford an N7 tablet.
