Indoor macro camera

Hi
Im looking for a digital camera that takes good sharp
photos in macro mode and can handle various types
of artificial light. 3meg should be plenty for what I want
and im looking to spend around £250.
At the moment I have a Pentax Optio 33L, its a great
camera but I cant seem to get a sharp focus on objects
and the light has to be just right. The picture is also
very barrelled at the edges.

Probably best to get a camera with interchangeable lenses and then buy
a macro lense for it.

I really like the macro mode of my Casio Exilim ZX-40u. It even has a
special mode for photographing text. I can actually take a picture of a
magazine page and then read it later on the camera's screen since you can
zoom in when viewing pictures. However, it is easier to read them on my
PC. I find that using the full optical zoom then pulling the camera back
removes all of the barrel effect.
