Inexplicable 20-30 fps drops.

Hi,
I recently bought a gaming pc which is battlefield 4 ready and planing to buy it in a week or so but when i started playing quite demanding games like skyrim, bioshock infinite or crysis 3 on everything maxed out (which is possible with my specs) most of the time the gameplay is smooth but then drops for 20-30 fps and then go back to normal. It happens randomly even in areas of the games which are not graphically intense and it drops all of a sudden.

I have tried many things to fix it like increasing my power limit to +20 and such and nothing is working. Gpu temp seem to be normal running around 40-55.
I'm thinking that it might be a bottleneck but i have a quad core processor so maybe...

Here are my specs:
processor: intel core i5 3470 3.2ghz (stock cooler)
Gpu: sapphire hd 7950 with boost( 3gb gddr5)
Ram: 8gb(kingston)

My specs seems to be quite high and i expected better performance. If someone can help me out that would be great. :D

Solution
BF4 on ultra with a single 7950? Not with good FPS.

Without AA, FPS are a bit better.

The fps drops by 20 to 30 all of a sudden and is very noticeable. That is in skyrim walking in the woods with a steady 60 fps and then turning around with the fps dropping to 40 and sometimes 30.
And, no i dont have any mods installed on my skyrim.( fps drop is more frequest in skyrim than it is in other games).

Is it because those games are pirated? i just downloaded them to do a test run.

You never know with pirated games, which is definitely not a practice I or this site condones.

Actually i had warframe which is a pretty demanding game and it worked flawlessly even though being nvidia optimized. I'll buy bf4 to see how it performs. Do you think i can run it on ultra with a good framerate and do you have any other solutions regarding this particular problem.
Thanks in advance.:D
