Motherboard: Lenovo IS6XM rev 1.0, probably from an IBM M81 computer.
I'm trying to install Windows XP and have several CD's here of it. None work. I cannot believe every one was burned with errors. They read fine in another machine. They usually start fine but then I get the following error messages:
INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 4096
INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 32768
I started it up with a MEMTEST CD that boots perfectly on another machine. It starts for about 1 second then restarts the Lenovo.
I've tried multiple DVD drives.
I've changed the hard drive location (Sata 0/1/2).
I've changed SATA cables.
I'm lost.
