Infection by Win32:Neshta[Trj]

Avast! free antivirus recently detected this virus, and everytime it came from a file "svchost.com".
Due to this, I I could not open various exe files as errors kept cropping up. Can anyone tell me how to remove this as Avast! merely quarantines it and it has already affected many other .exe files. Thanks in advance.

Boot to safe mode with networking
Run the full virus scan there, it should remove the virus (if not download malwarebytes and run a full scan with that instead)
Reboot.

Reyaz123 . Thanks for your answer but can you tell me how to boot into safe mode? Is it by pressing F8 while booting up?

Follow #2 and for the part that says startup settings at the top, it will give you a list of numbers you can press with different options. See it says safe mode with networking? Press that number when it asks you to (Press 5)
