I recently picked up 2 sticks of 128mb Infineon RAM. PC133, 7.5ns. I opted to go for this instead of crucial or mushkin because I picked up both sticks for 130 USD. My question now is, am I an idiot? Anyone know how this RAM actually performs? I am interested in using it in a KT7-Raid from ABIT, to OC a Duron 750 to 950. Will it do the trick, or did I just waste 130 bucks?

The RAM should work fine. Infineon RAM has a good reputation. I've seen sticks of RAM that were all Infineon (both the RAM chips and the PCB). Many others also use Infneon chips on their own PCBs.

I wouldn't be suprised if you could run it at CAS2, even if it's rated for CAS3.

Hey, thanks!

I have a pretty good idea about most things PC related, but when it comes to RAM Brand Names I'm a babe in the woods..

Thanks again for your help.
